I want to test my 3G network speed
Try visiting speedtest.net. You should be getting between 400kbps and 700kbps.
Be sure to read our section on making your EVDO faster to make sure you are getting optimal speeds.
How do I make 3G faster?
First, read our section on testing your EVDO speeds and run a test to see how fast your EVDO is.
Download TCPOptimizer.
Save the file to your desktop and run the program on all computers using the EVDO internet.
  1. Slide the slider to 2000kbps.
  2. Select 'Modify All Network Adapters'.
  3. Select 'Optimal settings'.
  4. Click Apply Changes.

I lost my installation software for my phone/air card
Please email us as sales@.png with the make and model of your phone or aircard.
I need help setting up my KR1 wireless router

Be sure the router is unplugged before adding or removing an aircard or phone!

Note: Since you are using the KR1 wireless router, there is no need to install the software included with your air card.

First, if you have just purchased your router, make sure you have the newest firmware by checking bottom of the unit for the preloaded version.

If you do not have version 1.010 preloaded, please see our section on updating your firmware before setting up your router.

Make sure your router is directly connected to your computer via the included Ethernet cable and open Internet Explorer.

  1. In the Address Bar, type http://192.168.0.1/
  2. You will be prompted for your username and password. By default, your username is admin. Leave the password field blank.
  3. Click the 'Run Wizard' button at the bottom of the page and follow the wizard.
  4. You will need the phone number to your air card, not the phone number of your cell phone.
This information is on your sales receipt.
  5. In one of the steps you will be prompted by the wizard for your username, password, server, and phone number.
    • Username: air car phone number@alltel.net (i.e. 4175555555@alltel.net)
    • Password: alltel
    • Server: Leave blank
    • Phone Number: #777 (this should already be here, but if it's not then enter it)
  6. Follow the rest of the set up wizard
  7. Once your done, unplug the router, instert the aircard or plug-in the phone and you should be ready to go.

Help! I am unable to access the internet!
If you have installed the software for your air card, or you are using a KR1 wireless router and you have set it up and updated the firmware (if needed) and are still unable to access the internet, try:
  • If you ARE NOT using a KR1 wireless router:
    1. Make sure the air card is firmly connected to the computer.
    2. Try disabling any Anti-Virus and Firewall software.
    3. Then restart your computer and try again.
    4. You can also try uninstalling, restarting your computer, and reinstalling the included software.
Note: Do NOT install the Internet Accelerator. Uninstall the Internet Accelerator
  • If you ARE using an air card AND a KR1 wireless router:
    1. Make sure the air card is firmly inserted into the back of the router and the router is plugged into a power source.
    2. Make sure the Status and WAN lights are green.
    3. Make sure your computer is connected to the router wirelessly or through an Ethernet cable.
    4. Try disabling any Anti-Virus and Firewall software.
    5. Unplug the router and turn off your computer.
    6. Turn on the router and wait for 5 minutes.
    7. Turn on your computer and try accessing the internet again once it's booted up.
